Everything is changing so fast in today's world, yet remaining in touch has never been easier. As this ride has progressed I've learnt ever more about the myriad ways to talk with friends and family alike and I'm always astounded by progress. From instant messaging to the joys of Skype video, I've seen childhood Sci-fi become adulthood reality and I'm intensely interested in this. Doubled with the need to raise money for education, finding the motivation was easy.

So for everything I've worked towards and for everything this ride stands for, I'm delighted to be able to share my journey with you now from anywhere on Earth. It has been my greatest challenge to turn the physical world into the cyber one but now there are three easy ways to keep up-to-date with the expedition and the schools we visit.

  1. Good old Email

Email iconWeekly updates to the site now generate automatic updates to your inbox for all subscribers whenever the site is updated from the saddle. Just enter your email in any "R4E Updates" box on this site to stay in touch with just the click of the mouse.

  2. News Stream

RSS IconRSS is basically a website's news feed. They're basically an easy way to keep track of a lot of different sources of news using a News Reader of your choice. Websites like Yahoo, MSN and Google allow you to automatically receive different news feeds on your "homepage." Google even allows you to receive news feeds with Gmail and popular email programs like Microsoft Outlook can also receive them. It's really not much more complicated than that!

You can locate the news stream for this site from any one of the little orange boxes you see in the side bar on each page. If you click on this box now, it will give you a number of ways to subscribe. You might prefer to use another website like MSN or Newsgator or a program on your computer like Outlook. Everything is simply explained when you click on the box. You can also click here for a step by step explaination of how to use it.

  3. Newsletters

Newsletter iconThere have already been a few Newsletters sent out over the last year and these shall continue, albeit as a summary every few months. Every subscriber to the weekly updates will automatically receive a Newsletter and past Newsletters are given below.
